The focus of this presentation will be a new products overview from Simpson Strong-Tie including a review of the Quik Drive Auto-Feed Fastening System for attaching steel decking to steel joists.
Simpson Strong-Tie is an industry leader in wood connectors and has made training customers a priority. They continue to offer their customers the most relevant and up-to-date training programs to help improve product installations and reduce the cost of construction.
Mark Walkenbach has been with Simpson Strong-Tie since December of 2003 as a retail specialist in the St. Louis market. After three years he became the Quik Drive specialist covering Central and North Florida. In 2009, he accepted the Territory Manager position covering Oklahoma, Western Kansas, and the Texas panhandle. In this capacity Mark works with the engineers, architects, building departments, and general contractors in the territory providing technical and sales support.
Stephen Hughes has been with Simpson Strong-Tie since 2002 as a Retail Specialist in South Texas and in 2003 moved to North Texas as a Retail Coordinator. In 2004 Simpson Strong-Tie acquired Quik Drive and he became the Quik Drive Specialist for Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. In 2010 Simpson combined Quik Drive, Swan Secure and Simpson’s other fastener line together and Stephen became the Fastener Specialist for North Texas and Oklahoma.
